Andreas Albrecht ist eigentlich Musiker. Er malt aber auch und fotografiert hin und wieder für sein Jahresprojekt TAGEBUCHt, bei dem er jeden Tag einen 15×15 cm grossen Keilrahmen gestaltet. Es entstehen dabei Werke, die sich mit Dingen beschäftigen mit denen sich so nicht jeder beschäftigt. Mit Bartwuchs zum Beispiel. Selbstportraits mit Vollbart, Schnauzbart, Backenbart, Ziegenbart. Da sieht doch ein und der selbe Mensch glatt (oder unglatt) einmal aus wie Taliban, dann wie Village People und dann wieder wie Weihnachtsmann.
Beard – Andreas Albrecht is actually a musician, but he also paints and occasionally takes photographs for his one-year project “TAGEBUCHt” (“Diary/Bay of Days”), in which he creates a 6-by-6-inch stretcher frame every day. The results are works that deal with things not everybody would deal with in quite the same way. With beard growth, for example. Self-portraits with a full beard, a moustache, mutton chops, a goatee. You see how weird a beard can be, seeing the same person looking like a Taliban in one photo, like one of the Village People in another, and like Santa Clause in a third.
