Gut organisiert, grün und nicht so teuer…. „Arm aber sexy“ nennt sie euer Bürgermeister. Und diese Geschichte! Gleichzeitig entsteht ständig etwas neues… wie fühlt es sich an, in dieser Stadt zu leben?“ Der Italienische Fotograf Gino Puddu antwortet mit großformatigen fotografischen Briefen auf die fiktiven Fragen seines Freundes. Im FENSTER61 werden sieben der Briefe aus Berlin (work in progress, seit 2005) im Wechsel gezeigt.
Letters From Berlin – “My dear friend, how are you? I hope this finds you well. What I hear about the city you have been living in for so long sounds exciting. The quality of life there must be amazing! Well-organized, green surroundings and not that expensive either… ‘Poor but sexy’, your mayor calls it. And all that history, too! New things are being created there all the time… how does it feel to live in this city?” Italian photographer Gino Puddu’s reply to his friend’s fictitious questions is in the form of large-format photographic letters. FENSTER61 displays seven of his letters from Berlin, a work in progress started in 2005, one at a time.
